About the Commission

The Independent Commission Against Corruption (the Commission) is an independent statutory body established to promote integrity within South Australian public administration. The Commission investigates reports of corruption within public administration and actively prevents corruption by undertaking evaluations of the practices, policies and procedures of public agencies. The Commission also delivers education programs which seek to guide the conduct of public officers in the South Australian public sector.

About the Role

Working as an integral member of the Corporate Services Section, the HR Support Officer shows initiative in supporting the Senior HR Business Partner and providing critical services to support human resources and other corporate activities including:

  • coordinating recruitment processes
  • drafting employment-related documentation,
  • assisting with pay-related queries, and
  • coordinating onboarding and offboarding.

This role represents a unique opportunity to undertake a range of human resource functions across the complete employee lifecycle.

Requirements

To be successful in the role you must possess:

  • Experience in preparing, editing and formatting professional business documentation
  • Sound understanding of, or demonstrated ability to learn, official record-keeping compliance, standards and protocols.
  • Good attention to detail
  • An understanding of the principles of equal employment opportunity and recruitment practices.
  • The ability to work autonomously, and good organisation skills.
  • An understanding of the corporate work environment and the importance of capturing and maintaining official records.
  • An understanding of the importance of tact, confidentiality and discretion.
  • Sound customer service skills.

Special conditions

Applicants will be required to undergo psychometric profiling.

Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at Negative Vetting Level 1.
