What Happened? How to Conduct an Internal Investigation
ICAC’s ’What Happened? How to Conduct an Internal Investigation’ seminar and workshop series offers useful tools to ensure an internal investigation is properly planned, carried out fairly and focused on truth-finding.
The education series is aimed at local and state government employed public officers who are directly involved in conducting internal investigations in their organisation.
The capacity to conduct thorough and timely internal investigations is essential in preserving an organisation’s integrity. An internal investigation can be used to identify inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour, poor policies and procedures and failures in processes
The seminar provides an overview of the theory that underpins an internal investigation and is a pre-requisite for enrolment in the practical workshop. Find out more.
