Complaints and Reports

The South Australian public deserve a public sector that conducts itself with integrity, honesty and diligence. If public officers and public authorities do not meet this minimum standard, those officers and authorities should be held accountable.

If you are a member of the public you have a right to make a complaint about South Australian public administration to the Office for Public Integrity (OPI).

If you are a public officer, you have an obligation to make a report to the OPI about any conduct in public administration that you reasonable suspect could be corruption or serious or systemic misconduct or maladministration.

The Commissioner has published Directions and Guidelines that govern the reporting obligations of public officers.
