Research reports

Understanding public administration, the risks, the challenges and the learnings.

In line with the Commissioner’s function to prevent or minimise corruption, misconduct and maladministration, the ICAC undertakes research about public administration and the way it is governed.

The Commissioner will publish that research if he thinks it serves his prevention function and is in the public interest.

Public Integrity Survey 2018

In April 2018 the Commissioner released a survey which sought to better understand state and local government employee’s attitudes and perceptions towards corruption and inappropriate conduct.

The survey received 12,656 responses from public officers across South Australia.

The Commissioner has published three reports on the findings of his Public Integrity Survey 2018. The reports highlight a range of issues, all of which should act as a catalyst for public authorities to review their operations.
