Finance Officer

Full-time, part-time or job share contract appointment for 12 months

Working as an integral member of the high-performing Corporate Services Section, the Finance Officer is accountable to the Finance and Business Manager for finance administration. The Finance Officer is responsible for daily financial operations and monitoring compliance with ICAC’s financial governance policies and procedures. Analysing patterns of expenditure, the Finance Officer prepares monthly and ad-hoc financial reports for ICAC’s executive and for audit purposes. 

Critical to your success in the position is the ability to build and maintain business relationships at all levels, with people from varied backgrounds, to achieve desired outcomes.

Special conditions

To be successful in the role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, finance, economics or equivalent experience.
  • An understanding of purchase order and invoice processing and follow up.
  • Familiarity with corporate records requirements and maintenance.
  • An ability to use Microsoft Office in particular Microsoft Excel.

Applicants may be required to undergo psychometric profiling.
