Gambling becomes a concern of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) in cases where public information and funds are risked as a result of a public officer’s gambling activity.
Several examples of such activity have arisen across Australia in recent years, and this Integrity Spotlight uses real case studies to highlight areas of risk.
It also contains advice for public authorities on how to implement appropriate safeguards and - importantly - where to go for help if you're worried about the impact of gambling on your work, life, or loved ones.
