30 April 2026
Following a competitive recruitment process, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Cassandra White as its new Deputy Commissioner.
“I am excited to begin working alongside Cassie as ICAC’s new Deputy Commissioner,” Commissioner Emma Townsend said.
“Cassie brings more than 25 years of legal experience to the role, along with a deep understanding of the South Australian public sector and an appreciation of the challenges and responsibilities faced by public authorities.”
In her role as Deputy Commissioner, Ms White will support the delivery of ICAC’s core functions, including the investigation and prevention of corruption.

“I’m excited to step into the role of Deputy Commissioner and to contribute to the important work of combatting corruption and strengthening integrity and public trust in South Australia,” Ms White said.
“I look forward to working closely with colleagues and public authorities to support trust and accountability across the public sector.”
