Two men arrested on 3 December 2018

Statement by the Hon. Bruce Lander QC,
Independent Commissioner Against Corruption

As a result of an investigation undertaken by my office, two people were arrested on 3 December 2018.

A 64-year-old man from Modbury Heights, who is a public officer, has been charged with two counts of bribery. The alleged offences occurred between 5 September 2018 and 1 December 2018.

A 25-year-old man from Northgate, who is not a public officer, has been charged with two counts of bribery in relation to the charges laid against the 64-year-old man.

Both persons have been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at 10:00am on 16 January 2019.
