Commissioner Lander undertook a review of the Police Complaints and Discipline Act 2016 (SA) after the PCD Act had been in operation for a year,

On 16 May 2019 the Commissioner's report A Twelve Month Review of the Police Complaints and Discipline Act 2016 was tabled in Parliament.

The report made 18 recommendations regarding legislative amendments to assist in addressing these issues.

“In my opinion minor amendments should be made to the PCDA to make it work better”, Commissioner Lander said.
