On 15 September 2017, Commission investigators arrested two public officers in a related matter. The Commissioner has also commenced a maladministration investigation.

On 21 July 2017, a public officer was arrested and charged with one count of abuse of public office after an ICAC investigation.

On 4 September 2017, South Australia will have a new scheme for managing complaints and reports about police. The new scheme, which is governed by the Police Complaints and Discipline Act 2016, ensures an independent and robust process for overseeing the way in which police manage and investigate allegations of police misconduct.

On Friday 11 August 2017, a public officer was charged with 20 counts of theft and six counts of dishonestly dealing with documents.

As a result of an investigation undertaken by the Commission, three people were arrested on 15 and 16 May 2017.

On 23 May 2017, two public officers were charged with criminal offences amounting to corruption under the ICAC Act.
